I think I'll rename this the Southport Petrel, it's the only place I've ever seen them, but then again I've not looked anywhere else yet.

What's Tahiti like at this time of year?

Checking the bird books reveals that there are many different species able to be seen around Australia so I can stay local and not run out of petrel.
